The University of New England offers its Master of Social Work online program in two forms: the traditional track and the advanced standing track. The traditional track can be taken by students with a bachelor's degree in any area of study and includes courses on social work fundamentals. Students with a bachelor's degree in social work may apply to enter the program on the advanced standing track, which focuses strictly on more advanced subject matter. Both programs teach students about topics like ethical issues and growth strategies, and enhance the students' ability to work with individuals, groups and families. Students also explore the connection between theory and practice.
