What Universities Offer Anthropology Degrees Online?

You'd like to earn a degree in anthropology, but your work schedule and family obligations make it impossible. Consider an online degree program. Several colleges and universities offer online anthropology degrees through distance learning programs. Distance learning can include online classes, teleconferencing and videos. It also allows you to work at your own pace, when it's most convenient for your schedule.
  1. University of North Texas

    • The University of North Texas offers an online master's degree in applied anthropology. The program takes three years to complete. Students generally take two classes each fall and winter semester. All courses are online, but you must visit the campus for a two-day orientation and to present your final project. Each class combines readings, real-time and asynchronous discussion groups, teleconferences, and group and individual projects.
