Go to the American Medical Association website at ama-assn.org.
Click on the "Doctor Finder" button listed in the "Featured Resources" area in the upper-right column.
Enter the anti-spam verification words provided and click "Enter" to proceed to the site.
Choose the button that says "For Patients."
Click the button labeled "Doctor Finder." Read the terms and conditions of the Doctor Finder service and click "Accept" to move onto your search query.
Click on the "View Non-Members" button if you do not find your doctor in the list of AMA members that match your search terms. Click "List Non-Members" at the bottom of the page entitled "Why should you choose an AMA member as your physician?"
Choose your doctor from the list by clicking on his or her name. A new page will load that lists the doctor's information, including educational history.
Contact the hospital or clinic where the doctor is employed. Speak with the Human Resources deparment to make the information request.

Contact your state's medical board by phone or email to request education history for your doctor. Be prepared with as much information as you can gather including the correct spelling of the doctor's name, specialty, hospital address and any board or association affiliations.
