How to Find Schools That Offer Information Technology

With hundreds of colleges to choose from across the nation and abroad, picking the right one can be overwhelming. If you want to pursue an Information Technology major, research domestic and international colleges online with College Board. College Board offers a database of all public, private and Ivy League colleges and can be searched using criteria such as location, major, tuition and more.

      Visit the College Board website and select the "College Search" tab located across the top of the web page.

      Click the "Start Here" button in the College MatchMaker section. Select the "Majors" tab and type in "Information Technology" in the box next to "Browse by keyword." Press "Go" to see a list of possible majors.

      Scroll down the list of possible majors until you find the one titled "Information Technology." Click on the title and select the "Add to List" button; It will show up in the box below. Hit the "See Results" button on the bottom of the web page.

      Search through the list of potential colleges that offer information technology majors by clicking the "Next" button located on the bottom right-hand side of the page. You can organize your college results by clicking the drop down menu and selecting "Alphabetical," "School Size," "Tuition & Fees" and more.
