Established in 1982, Northwestern California University School of Law is sanctioned by the California Bar Association to teach the law of the state in which the student will practice, in front of the courts in that state and all federal courts including the Supreme Court. Unlike typical law schools where the student must attend classes for three years, the curriculum at this school is a year longer. After having completed the first two years, the student will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Law, but a degree of Juris Doctor will be conferred to students completing the full four year program.
