Texas College Entrance Requirements

Texas colleges and universities include open-admission schools that admit students regardless of their class rank or standardized test scores. Top state and private schools in Texas, however, are more selective and insist that applicants meet certain criteria. Admission requirements vary, but non-open admission schools usually require standardized test scores, grade transcripts and course listings, letters of recommendations and an application fee.
