The Savannah College of Art & Design, or SCAD, was founded in 1978 and strives to prepare students for quality careers in art and design. In 2008, the five most popular majors were graphic design, fashion, animation, film and television and photography. SCAD features four separate campuses, and students accepted to the college may take courses at any campus. The campuses are located in Savannah, Ga., Atlanta, Lacoste, France, and Hong Kong. In addition, online classes are also offered. Each year, a wide variety of national and international companies attend the SCAD Career Fair to speak with students looking for internships and jobs. A few of the companies present at the 2008 career fair are: BCBG, American Greetings, Proctor & Gamble, JC Penney, Victoria's Secret and Ember Studios.
