A public four-year institution that was founded in 1960, Miami-Dade College is the largest non-profit institution of higher learning in the United States. It offers a variety of programs in fields like aviation, business, education, nursing, education, and computer and engineering technology. Students can choose to earn college credit certificates or associate degrees to prime them for transfer to another four-year institution, or remain at Miami-Dade to complete their education.
