• The Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering. The bachelor of science degree is designed to teach students the fundamentals of the industry. Students also learn about the industry through hands-on laboratory experience. The program is designed to provide students with the necessary background to either enter the industry upon graduation or pursue graduate studies. California Institute of Technology

• The California Institute of Technology's Graduate Aerospace Laboratories is considered by many to be the best aerospace engineering program in the world. U.S. News & World Report ranked the Cal Tech and MIT programs No. 1 among all programs nationwide. Cal Tech's students benefit from the school's location in the space/technology corridor of Southern California. The relationship between CalTech and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) gives students the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the aerospace industry. • Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University also is widely known in the aerospace industry. Embry-Riddle has campuses in two locations--Prescott, Arizona, and Daytona Beach, Florida.
