    • University of Michigan in Ann Arbor operates the Department of Health Management and Policy where graduate students can earn a Master's degree in Health Services Management (MHSA). The program consists of 39 credits in courses like Health Services Systems, Health Policy and Principles of Environmental Health Sciences, to name a few possibilities. Prospective students will train for careers as planners, administrators, management and consultants in the field of health care. MHSA students can also participate in student groups like the Public Health Student Association and the Michigan Healthcare Executive Student Association.

    University of Minnesota

    • The School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota offers the Master of Public Health (MPH) in Public Health Administration and Policy. The program is designed for graduate students who wish to pursue a career in a public health agency, non-profit organization or health-related company. The core curriculum includes courses in Foundations of Public Health, Community Health Assessment, and Budgeting and Planning for Public Health, to name a few titles.
      There are approximately 1,300 students enrolled at the School of Public Health, with 25 to 35 students admitted into the Master's program in health care each year.

    • The Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina allows graduates the opportunity to earn a Master's degree in Health care Administration. The program requires that students complete 60 credit hours as well as a 12-week internship. Students will complete courses like Statistical Methods for Health Policy and Management, Social and Behavioral Sciences in Public Health and Principles of Epidemiology, among many others. The degree is intended to help students find jobs throughout the health care sector, including positions in private and public companies.
