"U.S. News & World Report" ranked the UT accounting program No. 1 in 2010. The undergraduate program offered by the university has two options. Students can either obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, which requires students to take at least 21 credit hours in the field of accounting, or they can pursue a finance major with an emphasis in accounting. The BBA degree program allows students to pursue both the BBA and a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) as part of an integrated degree program. Students can obtain both degrees in just five years.
