Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business with a GPA of at least 3.0 or a bachelor’s degree in any field with a GPA of at least 3.0 followed by three years of professional accounting experience. This 15-month program consists of coursework in managerial accounting, control systems, risk management, business communication, negotiations, ethics, financial statement analysis, forensic accounting, information security, leadership and internal auditing.

    Towson University

In conjunction with the University of Baltimore, the College of Business and Economics at Towson University offers a unique Master of Science program in Accounting and Business Advisory Services. Candidates must hold a baccalaureate degree with prerequisite coursework in introductory and intermediate accounting, cost and tax accounting, auditing, economics, statistics, finance, business law, marketing management and business ethics with a GPA of at least 3.0 in order to be considered for admission. This joint program is comprised of coursework in advanced accounting theory and practice, financial management, applied information technology and information systems management.
