Eastern Iowa Community Colleges

Iowa has 15 community college districts, including the Eastern Iowa district. That district has three community colleges, and the district delivers classes, workshops and training for people pursuing associate degrees, adult education and continuing education. All three colleges offer athletics programs and are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
  1. Clinton Community College

    • Home of the Cougars basketball and volleyball teams, the downtown Clinton Community College campus provides educational services to 1,200 fully enrolled students a year. A technology center houses the printing and graphics programs, a mechatronics program and facilities for business and industry training. The college works with apartment owners to help students find housing near the campus. In 2009 the community college opened a state-of-the-art education center in the nearby city of Maquoketa, adjacent to the high school, offering computer labs, classrooms and meeting rooms.

An Applied Technologies Building is dedicated to auto and diesel mechanics, collision repair and HVAC training. The men's and women's soccer and golf teams are called the Eagles. A privately owned apartment complex a mile from campus is available for student housing. An additional campus in Davenport, Iowa, houses the John T.
