Private Schools That Offer LVN Programs

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the demand for licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) will increase by 21 percent form 2008 through 2018. To enter the field, nurses must complete a post-secondary education program offered at an accredited school. Throughout the United States, a number of private schools offer such programs, granting certificates and diplomas in practical and vocational nursing, allowing graduates to qualify for the National Council Licensure Examination necessary for licensing in the field.
