How to Cite an Online Book in Text Using MLA Format

Citing an online book or e-book using Modern Language Association (MLA) style is slightly different that citing a normal hardcover or paperback book. The procedure to cite the e-book is the same as citing a non-periodical Web publication. Including the online book URL is not necessary. It's acceptable to simply use the name of the site it was obtained from.
