Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology is Pakistan's third highest-rated engineering school. Located in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province, GIKI offers courses in eight fields, from Metallurgy and Materials Engineering to Physics. Each student is appointed a faculty adviser who helps develop a study plan then guides and mentors the student. GIKI is well known for its extra-curricular activities. The campus is host to 20 student-founded, student-run societies, such as the Adventure Club and the Cultural Dramatic and Entertainment Society.
