South African Business Colleges

South Africa has a complicated history as it chafed under 150 years of British rule and a national policy of apartheid that favored the minority white citizens over the majority black population. The country held its first multi-ethnic election in 1994 and the election of Nelson Mandela helped bring peace to the nation. The CIA reports that 86.4 percent of the population is literate, with 86 percent of South African children enrolled in primary school. Just 41 percent of males and 48 percent of females advance to secondary school. Business schools prepare students to help tackle the economic problems left by decades of apartheid.
