The software engineering program at Milwaukee School of Engineering, or MSOE, is one of the first ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited Bachelor of Science in software engineering programs in the U.S.
ABET is an independent accreditation council that ensures that the program meets or exceeds the standards set forth by industry standards.
Students gain “real world” experience by working closely with industry. They have the opportunity to work in the software development laboratory by working on industry-sponsored projects. They also have the opportunity to take three related, specialized courses. Popular choices include computer gaming, networking and commercial applications.
