Accredited Distance Learning Schools

Whether you're just beginning your education or looking to take your schooling further, selecting a university can be a daunting experience. If you prefer to learn at home, your decision-making process is further difficult, distinguishing between legitimate colleges and online "diploma mills." When considering a distance learning school, check for its accreditation; schools usually have this information prominently displayed on their website (you can also find it by typing "accreditation" in the search box on their front page). Accreditation is an ongoing process where schools voluntarily commit to evaluation of their teaching processes, student resources and quality of education and student life.
