Organization Management Schools

College students interested in studying business have many concentrations from which to choose, including organizational management. Schools across the United States and online provide students the courses they need to learn how to run a business effectively and successfully. Do your research and decide what kind of school is right for your future career plans.
  1. Eastern U.S.

    • If you want to go to business school on the East Coast, you can choose from some of the most prestigious schools in the United States. Ivy League schools, such as Harvard in Massachusetts and Yale in Connecticut, gear their courses toward degrees in business management. If you're not interested in the Ivy League, George Washington University, based in Washington, D.C., offers a track of organizational management at its off-campus location in nearby Arlington, Virginia. In College Park, Maryland, you can check out the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

    Central U.S.

    • Schools dot the central area of the United States, with gems hidden in Wisconsin, Illinois and Nebraska. The University of Wisconsin School of Business in Madison offers students a Big 10 school atmosphere with a Midwest flair. Students looking to stay in the Midwest but want to be close to the great outdoors can turn to Wisconsin-Madison, which offers a big city feel but is still close to the woods that the Badger State is known for. Not far from Madison, in DeKalb, Illinois, is Northern Illinois University (NIU), which is well known for its college of business. NIU business grads often find jobs only 60 miles away in Chicago, the Midwest's largest city. Farther west is the University of Nebraska at Lincoln's College of Business Administration, where you can earn a management degree while enjoying the sports-heavy atmosphere of the Huskers' main campus.

    Western U.S.

    • Business students in the western part of the United States can choose from schools along the Pacific coast or nestled in the desert. The Foster School of Business at the University of Washington offers students in Seattle an opportunity to learn about business management. Farther south along the western seaboard is the Marshall School of Business, part of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. If you're not interested in being close to the water, head inland to Las Vegas, Nevada. Through UNLV's College of Business, you can earn an organization management degree.

    Online

    • Dozens of schools across the country provide organizational management classes via the Internet. If you're unable to attend classes on campus for your chosen school, check to see if it offers distance learning. Argosy University has campuses across the country, but it also provides its students the opportunity to learn from the comfort of their own home. Ashford University, with its home campus in Clinton, Iowa, provides students the opportunity to learn online as well as on campus. Research online organizational management schools to find the best program for you.
