Northland Pioneer College has four campuses, including Holbrook, Snowflake, Show Low and Winslow. NPC provides several different kinds of EMT training courses in Arizona. Those wishing to become paramedics take the basic EMT training course. This course prepares students for EMT certification by both the Arizona Department of Health as well as National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. The basic program is a 12-credit course. After gaining certification, graduates of NPC's paramedic training program can take the NPC course on intravenous skills. Northland Pioneer College also allows practicing EMTs to refresh their skills in anticipation of renewing their certification. This course fulfills state and national requirements for biannual recertification.
