Marine Engineer Schools in Spain

Marine engineers design machinery, equipment and propulsion systems for maritime vessels. They work closely with naval architects, especially during the design and construction stages. In the past, marine engineers obtained mechanical engineering degrees with additional maritime work. There are now schools that offer specific degrees in marine engineering, however. Spain has a variety of schools that offer these degrees and their graduates have become important contributors to the international shipping industry.
