Daytona State College offers several two-year associate and four-year bachelor programs at several campuses in the Daytona area. The Flagler/Palm Coast Campus is a vibrant and active community located in Flagler County, Florida. The college offers over 100 associate of science degrees and certificates, as well as the Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Supervision and Management and seven Bachelor of Science in Education degrees. The six campuses are located in Flagler and Volusia counties to assure flexible schedules and classes close to home. There are also small class sizes so students get personalized attention while working toward transferring or completing their studies and beginning their careers.

Flagler College is located right on the Atlantic coast in St. Augustine, Florida. The school has an enrollment of 2,716 students, 59.7 percent of whom are female. The school is popular with instate students---67 percent of the student population is from Florida. Majors include history, political science, fine arts, sports management and sociology. This four-year institution offers bachelor degree programs that run each year in two 14-week semesters. The faculty-to-student ratio is 20 to 1. The average class size is 21.8 students with 86 percent of those classes having fewer than 30 students. The school is also part of the NCAA Division II for athletics and offers athletics programs and extracurricular activities to appeal to a wide range of students. Flagler also has a study-abroad option available for students who wish to enhance their educational experience by traveling to a foreign country.

Daytona College is a school that trains students to be massage therapists, skin-care specialists, cosmetologists and nail specialists. Most programs range from three months to 18 months to earn a certificate, which can lead to a career as a salon owner, massage therapist, aesthetician, cosmetologist, platform artist or celebrity stylist. The school offers flexible classes in state-of-the-art facilities. The students learn using the best equipment available. Students must be 18 or older and have a high school diploma or a GED to qualify for the program. Students 16 or 17 years of age, however, can enroll at the school with a parent's permission and a high school diploma or GED.
