Ontario Community Colleges

There are 24 community colleges In Ontario. Many colleges have more than one campus, and Ontario has more than 100 locations for community colleges in many beautiful parts of the large province. Ontario community colleges offer one-year certificate programs, two- or three-year diploma programs, programs for skilled trades, co-op education programs and programs that lead to a bachelor's degree.
  1. Colleges in Northern Ontario

    • Cambrian College in Sudbury offers programs at three campuses. The college is the largest in Northern Ontario and offers approximately 80 full-time courses. It has a community of over 14,000 students.

      Canadore College in North Bay offers programs at three campuses. The college has smaller than average classes. It offers approximately 80 full-time courses and has a new Aviation Campus.

      Confederation College in Thunder Bay is a small community college offering six regional campuses. It offers approximately 50 programs and has an average of 11,800 full- and part-time students.

      Norrthern College in Timmins is the smallest community college in Ontario. The college has four campuses in Northeastern Ontario and offers approximately 75 programs.

    • Algonguin College in Ottawa, a big college with a small-college atmosphere, offers over 140 programs at three campuses throughout the Ottawa Valley. Algonguin has almost 18,000 full-time students.
