The International Culinary Schools, within the Art Institutes, has locations across 22 states and Canada, including seven campuses in California. Programs in restaurant and bar management offered in these locations include the associate degree in wine, spirits and beverage management and the bachelor's degree in culinary management. The associate degree program is only available at the San Francisco location and prepares students for entry-level positions as a bar manager, winery tasting room manager, beverage consultant or wine buyer. It includes coursework in bar operation, event management, inventory, food and wine pairings and other business aspects. The bachelor degree program is available at all seven locations and prepares students for entry-level management roles in the food service industry. The CIA location in California' Napa Valley offers programs for culinary professionals, wine professionals, menu research and food enthusiasts. The ProChef Certification teaches culinary, leadership and financial skills through three levels.
