Florida International University also has one of the more extensive programs in hospitality and tourism management. The school's location in Miami makes it a natural choice those wanting to learn first hand about the tourism industry. The school offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in the field, including some through distance education. Undergraduate courses offered at FIU include Fundamentals of Management in the Hospitality Industry, Strategic Management for Hospitality and Tourism and Leadership n the Hospitality Industry. Graduate level courses include Hospitality / Tourism Service Operations Analysis, Research and Statistical Methods and e-Commerce for Hospitality and Tourism. San Francisco State University also offers various courses in tourism management. Although its program is not as extensive in its degree offerings as the programs at Purdue and FIU, the SFSU program offers the chance to take various courses in the field. One area of concentration within the program is in the field of international tourism management.
