The Stanford School of Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering (MS&E). Students in this program can choose to concentrate in one of five areas: Financial and Decision Engineering, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Technology and Policy or Organization, Technology and Entrepreneurship. The MS&E curriculum covers engineering basics, such as physics and calculus, as well as computer science, organization theory, finance, statistics, optimization and mathematical modeling. Offered through the Department of Systems Engineering, it focuses on training in the organization of resources, communication, technology, innovative problem-solving and professional development.
