What Colleges Are Connected With CUNY?

The City University of New York (CUNY) is a public university that is also partially funded by New York City, and therefore offers a low-tuition opportunity for students to receive the college education. As a result, more than half a million students are enrolled in their programs. Half of these students are earning degrees while the others are continuing or professional education students. With a history that goes back over 150 years, the colleges have helped create an educational paradigm that continues to encourage students to further their education.
