Humboldt State University, located in Arcata, is part of the California State University system. HSU is divided into three colleges: the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Professional Studies, and the College of Natural Resources and Sciences. College of the Redwoods is a two-year community college located in Eureka, California. The college offers an associate in arts degree program, as well as certificate programs and undergraduate lower-level and vocational courses.
In addition to the associate's degree, students can earn certificates of achievement and certificates of recognition for pre-approved programs of study.
