Northland Pioneer College is a comprehensive community college serving more than 12,000 students in Show Low and 17 other communities in Navajo County via four campuses (of which White Mountain is the largest), six centers and nearly 200 educational sites.
Students attending Northland Pioneer College are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, clubs, organizations and various events such as the student government organization, the music/theater/speech club, the outdoor club, the rodeo club and the "Northern Flight" literary arts magazine. Regular concerts, exhibits, lectures and career fairs are held across the various NPC campuses.
Northland Pioneer College offers more than 8,000 courses and programs during the fall and spring semesters and approximately 2,000 courses during summer; they also offer online courses.
Areas of study include occupational, academic and vocational programs as well as courses provided through a partnership with Northern Arizona University. NPC offers more than 100 applied science degrees and certificate programs and also five general studies and four associate degree programs that transfer to Arizona's public universities. Among the most popular courses at the White Mountain campus are nursing, kindergarten/pre-school education, carpentry and upholstery.
The White Mountain campus has served more than 3,200 students since it opened.

Prospective students must complete an enrollment form which is available from any Northland Pioneer campus or center and the college's website. NPC has an open admission policy available to anyone over the age of 14.
