Franklin, Indiana Christian Colleges

The city of Franklin, Indiana, is found near the center of the state, approximately 30 minutes from Indianapolis. Christian colleges in Franklin provide students with worship services, volunteer programs and intensive study on religious writings, ideas and theology.
  1. School Mission

    • Franklin's Crossroads Bible College concentrates on fostering leadership, counseling and other ministerial skills in students. Crossroads Bible College (CBC) is located very near Franklin in Indianapolis, Indiana. The purpose of the school is to educate the Christian ministers and religious leaders of tomorrow. Heritage Baptist College is located right in the heart of Franklin, on West State Road 44. HBC strives to include core Christian values and principles in every classroom and course.

    Degree Programs

    • CBC provides undergraduate and degree programs at the campus, but students may also opt to use the college's CROSS online class program. Crossroads Bible College offers an Associate of Arts degree or Bachelor of Arts degree in many different courses. Students may pursue a BA in Christian Education or Pastoral Leadership. The school also provides a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Counseling, Christian Education, Elementary Education, Pastoral Leadership and Urban Leadership. At CBC, students may also pursue a Certificate in Biblical Studies, Christian Education or General Studies. Associate of Arts degrees provided through CBC include Leadership and Ministry and Management and Ethics. Heritage Baptist College also provides students with AA, BA, AS and BS degree programs.

    • Christian Colleges provide students with spiritual education to enrich souls as well as minds. CBC's mission is to train Christian leaders by educating them in Bible literacy, spiritual maturity and vocational competency. Instruction in incorporating technology with the word of God is also provided through CBC. Heritage Baptist College focuses on the King James Bible, incorporating the word of God into classroom education, on-campus activities and student instruction.

    Courses

    • HBC offers a variety of courses to help students pursue their Christian education. Hebrew History, Pulpit Speech, Christian Counseling. Beginning Greek, American Literature and American History are included in the school's extensive course list. At CBC, students will take courses such as Old Testament studies, Counseling Cross Country, English Grammar and Marriage and Family Counseling.
