The Liberty University claims to be the "world's largest Christian university" with an enrollment that includes over 12,000 students that attend classes in Lynchburg, Virginia, and 50,000 online students. The university offers more than 45 degree programs in fields including nursing, psychology, business and religion at the associate, bachelor's and graduate degree levels. Liberty says that it has a generous transfer credit acceptance policy. Adult applicants may also qualify to receive transfer credit for job experience and military training.
Regent University offers online associate and bachelor's degrees in over a dozen fields including Christian ministry, government and information systems technology. All Regent online undergraduate degree coursework is offered using the Internet medium, so students never have to make time or budget for the expense of traveling to campus for special class requirements. Regent says that their online student retention rate has been 80 percent since 2006.
Indiana Wesleyan University offers certificates, bachelor's and master's degrees in fields such as business and counseling, as well as an education doctorate. Saint Leo University founded by the Order of Saint Benedict, specializes in both traditional and online adult education, and is one of the top 10 providers of higher education to the U.S. military. Saint Leo offers both undergraduate and graduate distance learning degrees through its College of Online Learning in a wide range of fields. Degrees offered include a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a homeland security specialization, and a Master of Arts in theology.
