Southern Oregon University offers a Master in Education degree online. The program is designed for students already licensed to teach and consists of 45 credits of study.
Course subject matter includes core competency classes based on topics such as research, diversity and leadership. Students also complete six credits of field-based course work focusing on topics that include leadership intro practice and early childhood student teaching.
The Master of Arts in teaching at Southern Oregon University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

Eastern Oregon University offers a Master of Science degree in the School of Education that can be earned entirely online. Students can select between six emphasis tracks: literacy; curriculum and instruction in elementary and secondary instruction; English for speakers of other languages; physical activity and health; special education; and teacher-librarian.
In addition to their emphasis, students will complete at least 15 units of core classes that focus on research. Eastern Oregon University is accredited by Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
