Schools That Offer Online Degrees in Texas

Many professional and nontraditional students interested in an academic degree are unable to enroll in brick-and-mortar programs due to their specific locations and scheduling demands. Fortunately for such students, several colleges, universities and university systems offer accredited online degree programs that provide flexible schedules. In Texas, a handful of universities do.
  1. University of Texas System

    • The University of Texas System, which links 15 academic state institutions, offers numerous online degree programs through the UT TeleCampus, including those in the following disciplines: legal studies, multidisciplinary studies, health services technology, criminology, teaching, business administration, creative writing, nursing and human resource development. Online courses are delivered using a central management system, and programs rely primarily on asynchronous (archived) lectures that students can access anytime and anywhere. Students also have online access to assignment schedules, library resources, electronic readings and student support services.
