U.S. News and World Report named it the most diverse university in the western United States for five years.
Union College (ucollege.edu) in Lincoln, Nebraska, is home to the first bachelor's degree program in International Rescue and Relief. Kettering College of Medical Arts (kcma.edu) in Ohio is dedicated to providing students not only with a thorough medical education, but to helping them advance professionally and serve their community after graduation. Finally, Andrews University (andrews.edu) in Berrien Springs, Michigan, boasts one of the most culturally diverse student bodies in the U.S., hosting 3,600 students from more than 100 countries.
Southwestern Adventist University (swau.edu) is in Keene, Texas, a small town minutes away from the bustling metropolis of Dallas. SWAU is not to be confused with Southern Adventist University (southern.edu), which is in the rolling hills of Collegedale, Tennessee. Huntsville, Alabama's Oakwood University (oakwood.edu) is dedicated to providing African-American students with a good Adventist education. The Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (fhchs.edu) in the heart of Orlando, Florida, offers students invaluable hands-on clinical experience at Florida Hospital.
Though its campus is in Silver Springs, Maryland, Griggs University (griggs.edu) is the only one of these adventist colleges to offer online and correspondence courses. Washington Adventist University (wau.edu) in Takoma Park, Maryland, has a world-class music performance program, along with 31 other areas of study. Atlantic Union College (auc.edu) in South Lancaster, Massachusetts, was the recipient of the Templeton Foundation's highest honor for character-building colleges.
Canadian University College (cauc.ca) is in Lacombe, Alberta. The student-teacher ratio at CAUC is 10:1, and three of every four professors hold doctorates.
