How to Cite Articles

When you are writing term papers in college, it is important to cite all sources used in a reference list at the end of your paper. This will help you avoid any suspicion of plagiarism; plus, it is required by many professors. Citing articles from periodicals can sometimes be a challenge, because there are several publication details you must list. Both the Modern Language Association (MLA) and American Psychological Association (APA) set guidelines for the correct citation of articles from magazines, newspapers and scholarly journals.
