How Do I Document an Online Article Distributed by the Associated Press in APA Style?

The Associated Press is a global news network that distributes articles to newspapers and Internet sites. If you need to include an article distributed by the Associated Press in your reference list, simply list "Associated Press" as the authoring organization, and cite the article as you would any other Internet newspaper article. Follow these steps if you are writing your paper in accordance with American Psychological Association (APA) format.

  List the date of publication in the following format: (Year, Month Day). For example: (2011, January 24).
