How to Find AP Test Numbers

Advanced Placement test scores are automatically sent out in an "AP Score Report" during the first week of July during the year in which you have your test, according to the College Board. The scores are sent to you and the colleges you designated on your exam answer sheet. They are also readily available through the automated reporting service for four years. After four years, you must submit a written request to receive an archived report.

      Call toll free to 888-308-0013 to receive your AP exam score over the phone. The scores will not be available by phone until July 1 and may cost $8.00 or more per call, which is payable only by credit card.

      Send your scores to additional colleges by calling the same toll free number in Step 1. The fee for this service is $15 per college. The scores take about one week to process after the request is received. You can ask for a rush report to be sent out within two days of the request, but it will cost $25 per college.
