How to Find What Score I Got on My AP Test

A good score on the Advanced Placement (AP) exams can earn you college credit, so you want to do well. Naturally, you want to know your scores as soon as possible. Sending your scores to the schools that you initially list on your application is free, but you'll have to pay if you want to send them to additional schools after the test.

      Wait until your scores come in the mail. Teachers hired by the College Board grade the exams after school lets out in June. You'll receive your scores in the mail once they've graded all exams.

      Call 888-308-0013 (from within the United States) or 609-771-7366 (outside the United States) to receive your scores. You'll need a credit card when calling, as it costs $8 to hear your score and $15 to send a score report to the college you'll be attending.

      Request your scores by mail. Your letter should include your name, birthday, home address, AP number and social security number. If you want the test scores sent to a college, you'll need to include the college number as well. Send this, along with the $15 per report payment in the form of a check or credit card number to:
