When does the HOPE scholarship check GPA?

HOPE scholarship checks GPA at two times during the academic year:

- Fall Semester: Before the fall semester begins, HOPE will check your GPA from the previous spring semester. You must have at least a 3.0 GPA to receive HOPE for the fall semester.

- Spring Semester: Before the spring semester begins, HOPE will check your GPA from the previous fall semester. You must have at least a 3.0 GPA to receive HOPE for the spring semester.

If your GPA drops below 3.0 at any point during the academic year, you will lose your HOPE scholarship for the following semester.
