Scholarships for Children of Air Force Veterans

One of the many benefits of serving in the armed forces is the large number of programs and scholarships available to help veterans and their families further their education. For children of Air Force veterans, there are several scholarship programs that can help to lessen the burden of paying for college. These programs reward students for their academic excellence.
  1. AMVETS National Scholarship Program

    • American Veterans (AMVETS) offers a scholarship program for entering college freshmen who are the children of an Air Force veteran who has been honorably discharged. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and be able to demonstrate financial need. Selected students will receive $1,000 per year for up to four academic years, and recipients must maintain a college GPA of at least 2.0.
