Scholarships for the GRE Exam

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is often required for admission to graduate programs across the globe. General tests or subject tests in the areas of biology, biochemistry, computer science, chemistry, literature in English, psychology, mathematics and physics are available. Usually the general test is the one required for college admission, and it consists of three parts. The three portions of the test include quantitative reasoning (math), verbal reasoning (vocabulary) and analytical writing. Each portion has its own score, as the math and vocabulary scores range from 200 to 800 and the writing is on a scale of 0 to 6. Several institutions offering graduate programs requiring this test offer scholarships to those with excellent scores.
