Film Education Grants

Film schools, cultural groups, government agencies and non-government organizations provide a number of education grants for film students. Some are regularly open for submissions every year while others are for one-time projects within specific time frames.

The more popular and competitive film education grants that are usually available on an annual basis include those coming from the prime movers of the Hollywood film industry. They offer film fellowships and other support to undergraduate and graduate film students in the United States.
