Respiratory Therapist Scholarships

A respiratory therapist specializes in breathing or cardiopulmonary problems. They have direct contact with patients, solving their medical and breathing problems. Duties include delivering oxygen and monitoring a patient's respiratory process. Respiratory therapists work at medical centers, hospitals and health clinics. You need specialized training for this career. Fortunately, there are scholarships that help pay for tuition, textbooks and laboratory fees.
  1. Robert James Reilly Scholarship

    • This scholarship is in honor of Robert James Reilly, a 1996 graduate of Upstate Medical University. He received his bachelor's in respiratory therapy. He died from cardiac disease. This scholarship is to assist students who are taking respiratory therapy. Only second-year students in the Bachelor of Science degree program can apply. A committee determines those who have financial need and academic achievement.
