Grants for Polish Students

Whether you're an international Polish student looking for grants in America or Europe, or you're a Polish-American student looking for grants in America or Poland, there are plenty of opportunities available. It is important to keep in mind the difference between a scholarship and a grant. One of the confusing aspects is that many scholarships are actually grants. Scholarships are typically given to students from a university based on outstanding performance (like academics, athletics, playing an instrument, etc.). To keep the scholarship, you must keep your GPA at a certain level and take a certain amount of classes. A grant is given by a non-profit or private organization. These organizations can give the grant to anyone that meets the criteria. Once you receive the grant, you do not have to meet a specific GPA or class credits to keep it--although you may have to give updates to the organization of your work at the school.
