There are awards for specific areas of study or particular life situations, need-based grants for the financially burdened and merit-based scholarships for those that demonstrate academic excellence. The Canadian Department of Education is a particularly good resource for Canadian students.

    • The Canada Student Grant For Persons From Low-Income Families is offered to deserving Canadian students by the Canadian Department of Education. To qualify, you must be classified as low-income by the Canadian government, qualify for the Canada Student Loan and have a high level of academic excellence, as demonstrated by a good educational record.     Canada Student Grant For Persons From Middle-Income Families

    • The Canada Student Grant For Persons From Middle-Income Families is offered to outstanding Canadian students by the government of Canada.     • The Canada Student Grant for Persons with Dependents is offered to students with children.
