Glenn Anton Rivers (born October 13, 1961), nicknamed "Doc", is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a player, Rivers played point guard for the Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, and San Antonio Spurs in the NBA.
Rivers attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois, and then graduated from Marquette University in 1983, where he played for the Golden Eagles men's basketball team.
