How to Apply for a Preliminary English Test (PET)

The Preliminary English Test is an intermediate level exam focusing on the four primary skills of English: reading, writing, speaking and listening. The test was developed by Cambridge ESOL -- a division of Cambridge University -- and used to validate an individual's ability to speak and comprehend the English language. Many employers, schools and ministries accept the PET exam around the world. Anyone can apply to take the exam at any of the 2000 authorized testing centers worldwide.
