To earn a GED certificate, you must get a total score of at least 2,250 points. You must score no lower than 410 out of a possible 800 on any of the subject sections.
You must get a score of 2,750-2,990 to get an Honors score on your test. This is a mark of achievement.
You must get a score of 3,000 or greater to get a High Honors score. This is the best mark of achievement you can get.
Usually your test proctor will make clear how to get your test scores while giving information about the test. However, scores should be available two to three weeks after the test. If you're unsure how to access your scores, contact your Assessment Center (the place you took the test) or go to the American Council on Education's website.
