Columbus Academy is a coeducational day school in central Ohio whose goal is to emphasize the development of every student as an individual. Along with providing necessary educational requirements, Columbus strives to provide hands-on opportunities for learning. Hawken School is an independent coeducational college preparatory day school that caters to students in preschool through grade 12. The purpose of Hawken is to provide "forward-focused preparation for the real world through the development of character and intellect." School include a library, a diversity of athletic areas for sports such as football, golf and soccer, as well as visual and performing arts studios. Hawken School also offers summer school programs where students can participate in day camp, sports camp or a summer studies program.
Saint Charles Preparatory School is a boys school in central Ohio whose mission is to provide preparation to students for adult Catholic or Christian life, with an additional emphasis on college or university preparation. As it is a religious school, Saint Charles is committed to instilling in students an understanding of the importance of a personal relationship with God, while focusing on accurate learning and disciplined work. Different from many other preparatory schools, Saint Charles accepts students who are able to do at least "C level" work, and emphasizes the necessity for their students to have a variety of skills that are not solely academic. The athletic department at the school offers a variety of sports including bowling, lacrosse and water polo.
Established in 1826, Western Reserve Academy is a coeducational boarding and day school located in a residential setting in Hudson, Ohio. It is the goal of the school to instill individual and social responsibility in their students while preparing them to be citizens and leaders. The curriculum requires students to pursue liberal arts and to excel beyond classroom academics in arts, athletics and service. Campus facilities offer an extensive athletic complex and learning centers, and offers 19 AP courses to students.
